On Wednesday, the President of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Arabian Sea, Engineer Yeslam Saeed Bablghoom, met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mukalla Fish Canning Factory, Mr. Omar Salem Ba’awzeer, and the Deputy Chairman, Engineer Osama Salmeen Bin Shib’a, at the Authority’s headquarters.

At the beginning of the meeting, Engineer Bablghoom welcomed the Chairman of the Mukalla Fish Canning Factory and his deputy. The discussion focused on the current operational status of the factory and the financial and administrative reforms that have been implemented by the factory’s management to date.

During the meeting, Mr. Ba’awzeer and his deputy explained that the Mukalla Fish Canning Factory (Al-Ghuwaizi) continues to operate within the available resources and has successfully overcome many of its internal administrative challenges. They affirmed that the factory is currently working at a high operational pace, and reviewed several marketing, technical, and production measures taken to ensure the availability of raw materials, enhance the production plan, and improve the quality and efficiency of output.

For his part, Engineer Bablghoom emphasized the support of the Authority and the Ministry, represented by Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Saqatri, as well as the local authority represented by Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, Governor of Hadhramaut, for all efforts aimed at improving and developing the fisheries and industrial sectors.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Engineer Bablghoom praised the efforts exerted by the management of the Mukalla Fish Canning Factory, stressing the importance of continuous development and improvement of the factory’s operations and workforce performance.
