On Saturday morning, the President of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Arabian Sea – Hadhramaut, Shabwah, and the Socotra Archipelago – Engineer Yeslam Saeed Bablghoom, conducted an inspection visit to the Fish Landing Center Project in the Hissaihisa area, which is currently under construction.
The visit took place in the presence of Colonel Mohammed Omar Bamheer, Commander of the Coast Guard in the governorate, and Mr. Tariq Al-Deqeimi, General Manager of First Line Company.

The project is supported and funded by the German Organization (GIZ), supervised by Hani Al-Sahouli Consulting Engineers (HS), and implemented by First Line Company for Contracting and Oil Services.

During the inspection visit, Engineer Bablghoom reviewed the progress of work at the site and listened to a detailed briefing from Engineer Mohammed Abdulqader Rowaie, Project Manager of the Hissaihisa Fish Landing Site, and Engineer Imad Baiyagoub, representative of the consulting firm Hani Al-Sahouli. Both engineers presented an overview of the completed work, noting that the project’s completion rate has reached approximately 88%.

In this regard, the President of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Arabian Sea, Hadhramaut, Shabwah, and Socotra Archipelago, explained that the inspection visit came under the directives of His Excellency the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi, expressing his appreciation for the efforts made by the supporting and implementing entities for this vital project.

He emphasized the importance of the Fish Landing Center, highlighting its positive impact on fishermen through the provision of essential infrastructure and available facilities. He further noted that the Authority is committed to enhancing and developing the fisheries infrastructure through various completed and ongoing projects, in addition to a number of future projects that are currently under study and preparation.

It is worth noting that the Fish Landing Center project consists of an administrative building, an auction yard, an ice plant, a fish storage facility, a fuel station, as well as rooms for power supply and security, all surrounded by a perimeter fence.

Engineer Bablghoom was accompanied by Engineer Saleh Al-Khulaqi from the General Authority for Fisheries in the Arabian Sea – Hadhramaut, Shabwah, and Socotra Archipelago, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Mansoub, Executive Director of First Line Company.
